Haven't had much front-page news in a while. But I did want to do a quick mention to our 10-man team who completed Herald of the Titans.
Congrats all!

Legendary is a small, tightly knit group of mature, talented players. As a guild, we constantly strive for raiding excellence in order to achieve our ultimate goal: effective progression through endgame content.
Here in Legendary, we raid smarter, not harder. It has always been our goal to accomplish in three nights of raiding what other guilds accomplish in five. Towards that end, we insist on exceptional individual and team performance, raiding and fight knowledge, and an ability to learn new content quickly and adapt on the fly.
If you're looking to raid with a group of chilled out, mature, highly skilled raiders, we'd like to hear from you.
It has always been our goal to accomplish in three nights of raiding what other guilds accomplish in five.
Why only three days? Legendary is composed mainly of gamers who have active and busy real lives. We have many raiders who are married, have children, or have focuses in their lives other than WoW which often require their attention. The three day schedule was selected in order to accommodate our members' busy lifestyles. Note however, that while the slimmed down schedule is easier to maintain, it also makes each night of raiding that much more valuable, and our raiders put extra effort into research, practice, and preparation for raids.
What about 10-mans? There are multiple 10man raids that run on off nights and after hours. These raids range from the casual (and occasionally intoxicated) to the extremely hardcore. Our guild calendar is available to help players manage signing up alts for different runs.
LLegendary distributes loot via an Officer Loot Council. The guild leadership decides to whom each piece of loot during a raid will be awarded; variables considered in the decision process include, but are not limited to: largest upgrade, time since last received loot, and level of attendance.
TTo make loot decisions more quickly, the officers utilize EPGP behind the scenes to provide a ranking for players. EPGP rankings take into account how much a player has been raiding recently as well as how much loot a player has received recently. This provides the officers with an unbiased benchmark to help reduce human errors, such as overlooking a player for many drops in a row. No system is perfect, so the final decision is still left to the officers to make.
Excellent players who are quickly able to understand and master new encounters and mechanics. We only raid 3 days a week and can't afford repeated We Want YouLooking for a couple strong healers, and ranged DPS who can avoid standing in fire and still top meters wipes on content while waiting for players who take more than a few attempts to understand an encounter.
We expect you to be able to identify, analyze and learn from your mistakes and prevent them from reoccuring.
Additionally, we expect guild members to represent themselves and the guild in a mature and professional manner. We are not a bunch of jerks who think we're better than everyone else because we're part of the raid team. We have specific goals which may be different from other players, and just because they are different does not mean that they are better.
IIf you feel like you would be a good fit for the Legendary Family, please visit our forums. Read over our policies and rules. If you have any additional questions, feel free to message any of the officers in game to discuss them (Any Legendary member will usually be able to point you in the direction of an officer, or point an officer in the direction of you). If you're comfortable with what you've seen, then we invite you to fill out an application. The application instructions can be found in the forums.
